Shivaangee is an artist, facilitator and writer with an experimental practice that orbits dance, improvisation and collective composition.

They are constantly curious about dance as a medium through which we can stay with and understand our multiplicities - across our physical, social, relational, autobiographical and political experiences.

As a maker of audience experiences, Shivaangee is passionate about giving people access into the work and taking care not to exclude people. They advocate for cultural accessibility and centering marginalised perspectives.

Shivaangee works across different roles in the studio, including performing, choreographing, rehearsal-directing, teaching, access consulting and audio describing. Underpinning these different modes of working is a commitment to holding space carefully, and with accountability.
